On November 1, 2009 the Mentoring Brother 2 Brother organization received a $4,000 financial gift from the Friendship West Baptist Church and senior pastor Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III.

MB2B was one of two local organizations that received this recognition for programs that directly impact at-risk and minority youth in the Dallas metroplex area.  The MB2B Board of Directors along with co-founders, Mr. Terrence Chase and Mr. Ray Schufford are extremely humbled by this tangible gesture of genorisity.
