Today's young people face life-threatening challenges on a daily basis -- substance abuse, neglect, AIDS, poverty -- the list is far too long. If our youth are to grow up and become productive citizens of society -- often if they are to grow up at all -- they need a place where they can be just kids. They need caring adults to help them develop the skills and self-confidence to say "no" to dangerous pastimes. Mentoring Brother 2 Brother offers that -- and much more.

Mentoring Brother 2 Brother has targeted at-risk African-American males between the ages of 6-18 to provide them with the foundations of a supportive and loving environment with program goals of 1) acquainting them with Africa-American and world history; 2) develop on-going relationships; 3) be a positive influence in their lives; 4) provide empowerment, encouragement and motivation in all aspects their lives and, 5) to promote high ethical and moral standards.

Currently our primary fundraising event, Celebrating Rising Stars is an awards dinner and gala designed to celebrate the mentee's in the program as well as African-American male community, business and civic leaders.

The Monthly Donation Initiative will assist us in program planning for fund allocations throughout the year. Consider the tax deductible advantages and personal satisfaction in providing the financial resources that will impact the program and administrative needs of this organization and our current mentees.
