Mentoring Brother 2 Brother programs are designed with the mission and vision to support the social, emotional and cultural well being of youth who are often targets of peer pressures toward behavior the is risky, and some times life-threatening. All MB2B programs (mentoring, tutoring, community service, leadership, spirituality) are designed to be strong in discipline, prevention and intervention components in partnership with their parent to provide the youth development programing to empower both the single-parent and young man to a new level of accountablity and responsiblity. MissionMentoring Brother 2 Brother, Inc. is a Dallas, Texas area based 501c3 non-profit organization, created in 1999 to provide mentoring, leadership, character and life development skills to disenfranchised and at-risk African American young men within the South Dallas and surrounding metroplex communities. The co-founders of Mentoring Brother 2 Brother are Mr. Terrence Chase and Mr. Ray Schufford. HistoryMentoring Brother 2 Brother, Inc. was created over ten years ago with the mission to successfully mobilize at-risk young men between the crucial ages of 6 to 18, strategizing them through educational tutoring, leadership training, mentoring programs and community service projects to be a catalyst in directing their paths away from negative peer pressure, unacceptable moral behavior, gangs and other negative urban-living obstacles, and empowering them to become our future leaders and thinkers as well as socially, culturally and community conscience African American young men.
